Beyond our sustainable materials, production, packaging and shipping, we’re also committed to sustainable business practices.

    As of July 01, 2019 - Coconut Bowls has been a verified member of 1% for the planet, where 1% of our annual revenue is directly donated and invested into verified environmental initiatives certified by 1% for the planet. 

    Through this partnership with 1% for the planet, our coco charity initiatives allow us to tackle the biggest environmental challenges. We are committed to continuing our role as a business leader in environmental sustainability, and we hope our work inspires individuals and other businesses to take more transparent responsibility to make their footprint an eco-friendly one.

  • Cool Effect

    We are committed to offsetting the carbon footprint from all of our shipments and deliveries, and as of July 01, 2019 we purchased carbon offsets for every single shipment we’ve shipped since our first order in January 2016.


    From farm-to-workshop, workshop-to-warehouse, and from our warehouses to people like you, wherever you are around the world, all carbon created from the travel of our products is offset through the purchase of carbon credits - which are then used to combat carbon, and restore balance in our atmosphere by planting trees and funding reforestation, solar and clean energy projects.

    As a business, we believe that we have a social responsibility to ensure that we operate as eco-friendly as possible - as our business grows, our philanthropic impact grows.

    After making regular donations through 2018 and 2019 to Environmental non-for-profit organization the Rainforest Alliance, Humanitarian charity The World Food Programme and the World Animal Protection Animal Welfare charity - since 2019, we’ve been donating 1% of our revenue to 1% for the planet verified environmental initiatives and charities.
