I received both of my bowls in the mail - Yin and Yang and Journey - and they were both as beautiful as I expected (and they picture sooo well :D) I was hesitant at first to purchase because many things said that they were not meant for hot foods, I was afraid of damaging them as I was planning to use them as my everyday bowls, hot and cold. However, when I tested my Yin and Yang bowl, I treated it to room temperature water, let it dry (they dry FAST), and let my noodles sit in the pan before putting them in bowl (idk about you, but I can't eat piping hot soup anyways, so no point in putting it in the bowl right away). Finally product, the heat did not penetrate the bowl into my hand as other reviews had stated and the bowl itself seemed perfectly fine. I'm very happy!
