RECIPE BY RUN 2 FOOD
Enjoy the classic pb &j combo in a bliss ball form! This protein-filled balls are a great snack whenever a craving hits!
INGREDIENTS
- Oats, 1 1/2 cups
- Vegan Protein Powder, 1/4 cup
- Peanut Butter, 1/2 cup (plus extra for drizzle)
- Maple Syrup, 1/4 cup
- Water, 1/4 cup
- Strawberry Jam, 1/4 cup
METHOD
- In a food processor, add in all the oats and protein powder and blitz until the oats become a fine flour.
- Add in the peanut butter, maple syrup and water and process until the mixture clumps together like cookie dough.
- Divide the mixture into 8 portions, roll into a ball and flatten, the place a teaspoon of jam in the centre before moulding into ball shapes.
- Freeze for at least 30 mins to firm up the protein balls .
- Serve in a Coconut Bowl and drizzle on some peanut butter.
