As an additional resource we asked the very clever Richa from @deliciously.earthy to create some simple but incredibly DELICIOUS recipes for you to create at home using nothing but whole foods. Read along to see how easy, bright and beautiful your meals can be.

Hi, I'm Richa from deliciously.earthy! It's so lovely to have you here! My background has always been in healthcare, as I absolutely love helping people live healthier, happier lives. I'm so happy to be inspiring people to get making nourishing recipes, and to show how fun + delicious rainbow, whole foods are! For me, gorgeous, delicious food keeps me positive and feeling good, both physically and mentally.

This blog post is all about celebrating summer with easy, clean smoothie recipes! Made with whole foods (namely whole load of fruit) and nothing artificial, I've put together exactly how to make some of my favourite colourful smoothie bowls! Whether you like to slurp up your smoothies, or dig your spoon into a thick and creamy nice-cream (a thick, more solid version of a smoothie - like ice cream but healthy) it's all here!

1. Tropical Ocean Smoothie Bowl
Want to jet off to the tropics but can't quite yet? Here's the next best thing!
To make this recipe you need to blend:
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 tbs oat milk
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 tsp blue spirulina
then top with all your favourites and make your heart sing! ⭐

2. Mango Nice Cream

If you're looking for a banana-free smoothie, that's thick and creamy and full of flavour- look no further! Here's a fuss- free, super easy and scrumptiously tropical bowl! You just need to blend

  • 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks
  • Splash of coconut milk

then top with whatever you like!

3. Blueberry Chia Smoothie Drinks

For a smoothie you want to drink on the go,  or relax and slurp it up - this is for you! The chia seeds act as a thickner and they are packed with iron to fuel your day with energy!

serves 2

  • 2 bananas
  •  2 tbs chia seeds
  • 1.5 cups coconut milk
  • 1.5 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  •  1 tsp blue spirulina

Blend everything until smooth and creamy!

4. Mango + Raspberry Mermaid bowl

Here is a bowl I could literally DIVE into! It's another banana- free one and packed with tropical flavours and colours! I'm in love with that gorgeous coral colour from the addition of dragon fruit/ pitaya.

This creamy thick nice cream is made by blending together 2 flavours: Mango & Raspberry

Mango Layer:

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1.5tbs coconut milk

Pink Mango Layer:

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen rasberries
  • 1 tsp pitaya powder

5. Very Cherry Smoothie Bowl

Simply made with just 3 ingredients! This one is tart from the sour cherries, so be ready for a fruity hit! As for the 3 ingredients needed for this fruit nice cream, you'll need:

  • 1 cup frozen pitted red sour cherries
  • 1/2 cup frozen peach slices
  • a splash of coconut milk
