A coconut bowls review and recipe by Heather of Hefafa

September 20, 2017

Having wanted them for such a long time, I finally got two coconut bowls last weekend and I have never been more excited!

Coconut bowls are super environmentally friendly and each one is completely unique. The company (called Coconut Bowls) reclaims coconut shells which have been thrown away by other businesses who make products using the inside of a coconut.

Coconut Bowls Review- Chelsea Fox

I'm so in love with my new little bowls from Coconut Bowls. They are 100% natural, eco-friendly and are made from reclaimed coconuts that otherwise would have been discarded as waste.

Each bowl is completely unique and they are so fun to eat out of – not to mention, they make your smoothies totally insta-worthy! Plus, they came with these adorable wooden sono spoons that are handmade from reclaimed Amboyna tree wood in Bali! I was so excited to try my first smoothie bowl in one of these so I whipped up this Chocolate and Berries Protein Smoothie that was absolutely delicious.

The quality of these bowls are amazing. I got one of each of the natural and original bowls. The natural bowl is smooth inside and textured outside, and the original bowl is smooth inside and out. I'm in love with the natural designs on the inside of them as well – they are so gorgeous!!

And if you're looking to add in some additional good vibes to your morning smoothie ritual, go ahead and get out your crystals, sage and greenery and you're ready to relax and indulge!

    Coconut Bowls
    Review: My Fridgie

Gorgeous Coconut Bowls: beautifully crafted, and handmade out of discarded coconut shells! I actually didn’t know this, but over 99% of shells from used coconuts end up getting chucked and burned. The smoke from the shells releases a lot of methane and CO2 in the atmosphere, which is hazardous not only for the environment, but also for our health.
